Save The Last Pinker x Fashion Addict Next Door: Week 1

Image

This is my first week as the guest blogger for the fabulous online boutique Save The Last Pinker, and may I just say, I couldn’t be happier to be selected!

My style edits will reflect my favourite pieces available on Save The Last Pinker, paired with pieces that I’m currently lusting after. This week’s inspiration is ripped denim. Whether it be giant rips in boyfriend jeans or busted knees on your fave pair of skinny’s, there’s no denying that ripped denim is the trend to follow this season.

Let’s talk about the jewels. Krystle Knight creates the most wonderful quartz pieces in silver and brass, and the quartz is always the hero of every piece. Her pieces are also incredibly versatile and are the perfect finishing touch for any outfit. The rings I selected for this outfit showcase a large piece of quartz set on a gorgeous brass band. Perfectly edgy and cool.

At the moment I’m loving a good pair of ripped jeans and black sandals. This week’s style edit is perfect for the transition from Summer to Winter, and each piece is an essential wardrobe item for the cooler months to come. I’m a big believer in investment pieces that you can wear to death. This outfit provides the perfect blank canvas to show off your fabulous Krystle Knight quartz jewels.

Leopard Love.

ImageThe above quote inspired this post. For anyone who knows me, they know that this is absolutely true. I am OBSESSED with leopard print. See for yourself below, inside my bag!

Now, of course, I realise that you can take leopard too far. Leopard is best worn with accessories (a cute clutch, bag or pair of shoes), or with a feature piece of clothing, whether that be a scarf, a skirt, a top or pants! Leopard goes perfectly with black and white, and can also look amazing with a bright lime and other brights!

Check out my favourite leopard pieces around at the moment….

My Hello Parry & holographic obsession continues…

Image

Some of you may have gathered by now that I have a little addiction at the moment to two things: Hello Parry & Holographic everything.

Once again, my two loves have combined in this beauty; the Super Oversized Holographic Clutch ($55.00)…

Image

This is how I styled the clutch recently when going out for a friend’s birthday drinks…

One thing that surprises me about this clutch is its versatility. It goes beautifully with silver, gold and rose gold accessories, and adds a special little somethin’ somethin’ to any outfit. It is especially fitting with the monochrome trend, and will no doubt work beautifully with the up and coming Spring/Summer pastels. Ahhh. ❤

If you need further convincing of its amazingness, make sure you check it out here on the Hello Parry website.

How I’ll be staying warm in Winter.

The Autumn/Winter 2013 season is impending. Stores have been stocking Winter clothing since February (crazy, right!?). I have been living in a state of confusion – wanting to stock up for Winter but still facing very warm weather. My brain says “are you crazy?! It’s still hot outside!!”; but my heart says “Winter <3”.

Here’s how I’ll be keeping warm this season…

Sportsgirl Camo Parker ($89.95) buy me

*the best thing about this beauty is that it was meant to be sold for $129.95 but is ticketed at $89.95 – that’s a saving of $40! How can you say no!?

Sportsgirl Harmony PU Jacket ($129.95) buy me

This one’s available in black, cream, and burgundy. I went for the black because I felt it would stay on-trend for longer – having said, I adore the burgundy.

Sportsgirl Fur Vest ($79.95) buy me

This baby comes in neutral (pictured) and black. So cozy!

Image

Sportsgirl PU Denim Jacket ($99.95) buy me

This jacket entered my wardrobe today. I just couldn’t resist. It’s so light weight and comfortable and looks amazing on.

Sportsgirl Baroque Jumper ($89.95) buy me

I love this jumper… I don’t own it… yet. 😉

This post may seem extremely biased, and I’m not going to lie, it is. Why? Simply because Sportsgirl is absolutely killing it this Autumn/Winter season.
