Save The Last Pinker x Fashion Addict Next Door: Week 1

Image

This is my first week as the guest blogger for the fabulous online boutique Save The Last Pinker, and may I just say, I couldn’t be happier to be selected!

My style edits will reflect my favourite pieces available on Save The Last Pinker, paired with pieces that I’m currently lusting after. This week’s inspiration is ripped denim. Whether it be giant rips in boyfriend jeans or busted knees on your fave pair of skinny’s, there’s no denying that ripped denim is the trend to follow this season.

Let’s talk about the jewels. Krystle Knight creates the most wonderful quartz pieces in silver and brass, and the quartz is always the hero of every piece. Her pieces are also incredibly versatile and are the perfect finishing touch for any outfit. The rings I selected for this outfit showcase a large piece of quartz set on a gorgeous brass band. Perfectly edgy and cool.

At the moment I’m loving a good pair of ripped jeans and black sandals. This week’s style edit is perfect for the transition from Summer to Winter, and each piece is an essential wardrobe item for the cooler months to come. I’m a big believer in investment pieces that you can wear to death. This outfit provides the perfect blank canvas to show off your fabulous Krystle Knight quartz jewels.

This dress by Glassons is so easy to dress up and down. To dress it up, add a red lip and some killer heels.

Image

The versatility of my holographic Hello Parry clutch is surprising; it literally goes with everything and I use it so often. It fits all my essentials and still has room to spare; what more could a girl want! I know it’s still going to look great going into Autumn/Winter 2014 too.

My Karen Walker ‘Super Duper Strength’ sunglasses have been my favourite pair for over a year now. The style and shape has been so easy to wear and I always feel super stylish in them. I know there are a lot of dupes around of this style now, but in my opinion, you can’t beat the original!

Image

Let’s not forget about the shoes. Every woman’s obsession. OK, that may be a slight generalisation, but lets face it… most of us really enjoy a good pair of shoes! I am personally loving the platform/wedge trend because I have a serious case of princess feet, and stilettos just don’t do it for me, from a comfort perspective. I was overjoyed when I spotted these babies in Wittner. They have a comfortable incline, the zipper adds some serious attitude/interest, and the peep toe style is very in for the coming Autumn/Winter season. What’s not to love!

Merry Christmas to me!!

I hope you all got as spoilt as I did on Christmas Day!

The special man in my life bought me a necklace that I had been lusting after from Save The Last Pinker by my new favorite designer Krystle Knight Jewellery.

The necklace is called “Mini New Beginnings Necklace”. It retails for $149 AUD. The quality is impeccable and I can’t even convey how beautiful it is in real life.

Check it out below…

I found this gorgeous black & white floral dress in Glassons and fell in love immediately. I love the print, the length is great, and it’s a dressy material too so very versatile. I threw on my denim jacket and trusty “Chunk” sandals from Windsor Smith for a casual look.

ImageImage

This denim jacket is one my favourite things. I bought it from Urban Outfitters in the UK in September. It’s vintage Levis. I love the colour and the oversized fit.. it goes with everything.

ImageImage

Now, the accessories. I’m a silver girl, apart from my gorgeous rose gold Michael Kors oversized watch. So whenever I find pretty silver things, I just can’t help myself. I’m loving quartz pieces at the moment. The necklace is definitely luxe for less, only costing $16.95 from Sportsgirl. My Krystle Knight ‘Balancing Ring’ is luxe for a little more, setting me back a reasonable $99.00.

My ‘Chunk’ Windsor Smith sandals get a good workout. They’re supremely comfortable and they go with so much.

OOTD: Bright nights.

I love these pieces together. The lime top goes so well with the holographic clutch and heels with tread.

ImageImage

I wear my Mika Sandals from Sportsgirl to death. They’re endlessly comfortable for synthetic shoes. I also love the tread on the bottom that gives them just the right amount of attitude!

Image

My favourite thing about my lime Glassons top is the back. It’s so simple from the front, and the detail on the back absolutely makes it in my opinion.

ImageImage

What else can I say about this Hello Parry holographic clutch that it doesn’t say for itself? It is just fabulous. I love its size too – it holds all my essentials, plus more. It goes with absolutely everything and actually looks awesome with gold accessories.

OOTD: Black & White.

ImageImageI really love this white sheer floral top from Topshop. It looks fab with jeans or leggings for a casual look, or dressed up with leather. I personally like wearing a black bra under it – I feel like it looks more intentional and less like an accident that I’m wearing a see through top.

ImageYes, this is the infamous Zara skort. I bought it months and months ago. It’s one of those pieces you can easily dress up or down and goes with so much.

ImageImageImageLet me tell you about the amazing crystal ring I’m wearing. It’s from a designer I recently discovered called Krystle Knight. Let me tell you that it was love at first sight. The ring is sterling silver, and is called the ‘Balancing Ring’ which retails at $99.00. Extremely reasonable for the quality I think. I’m already trying to figure out which piece I need next. My bank account should be very afraid. I bought a size 7 ring, which is usually big on my middle finger so I’d intended it for my index finger. However, because of the width, it is actually snug on my middle finger.

The details:
Topshop white floral tee
Zara black skort
Windsor Smith ‘Manly’ sandals ($89.95) buy me
Kookai felt hat
Sportsgirl ‘Crystal 2 Drop Necklace’ ($16.95) buy me
Krystle Knight ‘Balancing Ring’ ($99.00) buy me
Michael Kors Handbag
Sportsgirl ‘Violet Crumble’ Lipstick ($9.95)
