Topshop Personal Shopping

Today my girlfriend and I visited Topshop Sydney and had a great personal shopping experience.

Check out some very pretty snaps from our trip…

We enjoyed cupcakes, our own stylist to help us with sizes and suggest other items, and had our own lush suite with clothes racks filled with beautiful things.

As you can see, the interior design is absolutely amazing. We felt extremely pampered and the whole experience was so pleasurable that we will definitely be back soon.

Love,

My latest purchase: Cut out boots.

20130110-224318.jpg

So you should know that I first saw these boots on Boxing Day or the day after and Windsor Smith in Parramatta had sold out of my size. At this point I should have put my detective shoes on and got a-searchin’, but I didn’t. I couldn’t stop thinking about them. Eventually I pulled my finger out and started searching. Every Windsor Smith store was out, including the online store. I was devastated; especially because Windsor Smith had 40% off everything in store, and 30% off online. Pretty much as big a discount as you could ever hope for on a current, trendy item. Completely by chance, I discovered Windsor Smith at DFO Homebush. I hadn’t found it earlier, because for some reason DFO isn’t listed on the stockist. DFO had a full size range and still had the 40% off. It was one of the best days of 2013 so far! Naturally I begged them to take my money. So now, I have these pretties on my feet. 😀 So far they’re a tough mistress, but no doubt once worn in, they will be super comfy and will be the prefect trans-seasonal shoe. 🙂

The ‘Envy’ shoe is $179.95 full price…

Stalk ‘Envy’ here.

It you’re looking for something even tougher, check out ‘Envious’ here.

Sorry about the essay – I just had to share my story with you.

Love always,

Trend: Cut out boots.

Crushing on cut out boots. ❤

These stunning Balenciaga boots have started quite the trend. Priced at over $1200 though – they may be out of reach for us regular people.

Lucky for us, several brands have brought out their own more-cost-effective but just-as-cute versions. Check them out below…

Jeffrey Campbell ‘Coltrane’ ($184.95) Stalk Me

Windsor Smith ‘Envy’ ($179.95) Stalk Me

Sportsgirl ‘Cut Out Boot’ ($99.95) Stalk Me – sold out online, try in-store

Some of the above come in studded, patent, or different colours, too! So make sure you check those out if you’re after something even funkier.

Need some more convincing? Maybe some styling ideas? Check out some celebs below rocking cut out boots.

Nicole Richie – worn with a floral dress

Miley Cyrus – worn with skinny jeans and a knit

Mary Kate Olsen – worn with black pants and a dressy top

What do you think of this trend? I personally look forward to rocking a pair with a camo jacket.
